I know how important it is to use the right reporting period, keep postings out of closed periods after reporting, and make sure intercompany charges are handled consistently.<\/p><p>I changed processes so recharges were treated as mandatory, with each department responsible for approving its share. Line managers were alerted when approvals were late, and appraisal-time reports showed where approvals were timely and where delays kept happening. It helped keep the close moving without endless chasing.<\/p><p>That experience is shaping a period-end processing tool I am exploring. I am testing what finance teams need from a practical way to manage calendars, posting rules, recharges and approvals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-33cccd4 e-flex e-con-boxed qodef-elementor-content-no qodef-sticky-column--no e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"33cccd4\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b3b650e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"b3b650e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What FundingFunnel does.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ef948f0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ef948f0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Different problems need different solutions.<\/strong><\/p><p>FundingFunnel is not built around one product or one fixed way of doing things.<\/p><p>Businesses, households and organisations face different pressures at different times. We look at what is actually happening, identify what is getting in the way, and find practical ways to improve it.<\/p><p>Sometimes that means reducing a cost or fixing a process. Sometimes it means finding a better service, spotting an opportunity, or using technology to remove work that does not need to be there.<\/p><p>As the problems change, the solutions will change too.
